Savitribai Phule Pune University decided to start the second session of undergraduate and postgraduate degree examinations in phases from the third week of June at a meeting of the university's examination board on Saturday. The second term examination will also be conducted online and the university has started filling up applications for the examinations from May 15. The examination of the second session was discussed in detail in the meeting of the Examination Board of the University.
First of all, it was agreed in the meeting of the Board of Examiners that the examinations for the Arts, Commerce and Science courses would be held in phases starting from the third week of June. Also, the period for accepting the marks of the practical examinations from the colleges was fixed. Corona's background has completely ruined the university's academic and examination schedule. Colleges and universities are closed due to the corona, and the first semester of the month of October-November has to be taken from April. This year, the examination department of the university in collaboration with the SPPU Azutech Foundation conducted the online examination in a proper manner. This did not cause much technical difficulties to the students. The university has been able to conduct the first semester examination online and in a prescribed manner from April 10. It is expected that the second session will be conducted in the same manner.

The students were demanding that the first session examination be over and the second session examination should be held soon. So the university undertook the task of planning the second semester examination. Accordingly, these examinations will start from next June. But, will it be possible for students to study in such a short period of time? Also, will it be possible to complete all the courses in the second session by the third week of June? Such a question is present.

Against the backdrop of Corona, it has already been decided to conduct practical examinations of various faculties of the university online. The results cannot be declared unless the marks of demonstration and internal assessment of the students are received from the college. Therefore, it was decided in the meeting of the Board of Examiners that the colleges should conduct the practical examination of the students by next June and submit their marks to the University by next 25th June.
